France's first Mole quest has begun!

The brand new series of THE MOLE  got off to a good start on Wednesday 1st July on commercial channel M6. Produced by Endemol France, QUI EST LA TAUPE?  achieved a share of 19% in the 15-49s and a 20% share in the female target on its first outing, and an audience of almost 2,5 million, making it the second highest rated programme in the key demos.

The social media networks were also buzzing during and after the first broadcast and the more than 30 000 tweets made it the most popular show of the evening on Twitter.  Premiering in France for the very first time in the format's history, the 6 ep series was recorded in South Africa earlier this year.

So the search is on – who will prove to be the very first French Mole?
